Prior to his current position at FalconX, Hamill was the Director of Institutional Loan Originations at Genesis, a leading digital assets prime broker. There, he successfully led international teams across Singapore, London, and New York, markingly expanding the firm's financial activities and enhancing its market footprint.

His earlier career also includes significant stints at Sanford C. Bernstein, where he managed trading operations for North American asset managers, and at Credit Suisse. His role at Credit Suisse evolved into that of Vice President of the International Program Trading Desk, where he was responsible for managing extensive non-dollar portfolio trades and optimizing processes for executing sizeable foreign exchange transactions.

In 2012, Hamill's career was further enriched by a six-month stint in Hong Kong, where he managed the firm's principal foreign exchange client account, deepening his insights into the Asia Pacific markets.

Hamill earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where he was an active member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity and served as a class senator. A semester spent studying abroad in Rome enhanced his global perspective.
